Consistent in action

In an area, the character of the community is determined by the condition of natural resources surround it. The community’s habits are based on local and natural conditions. If nature does not allow them to do anything, then they will tend to earn income for their living outside their area. It is not surprising if they choose to look for income outside the location they live because of the availability and capacity of natural resources.

The community will adapt to fulfill their livelihood and will have certain habits in order to fulfill their needs. People tend to think simply and practically in meeting their needs.

In a community, there needs to be an example to make the community “moved on”. Based on the experience, the community will change their habits if they get a role model or a real example in their lives. The community or society will also change their behavior if they feel the benefits of changing these behaviors or habits.

If in an area there is a group of people who have the habit of farming to sell their agricultural products with a number of profits, they will continue the habit.

For example, on a particular visit, the community is given an example or advised to plant nutmeg in their environment. But because of the suggestion to plant the nutmeg, there are no other examples around whether to produce it or not, so many of them object to planting it.

The example in question is to motivate concrete actions so that they are willing to develop themselves and reflect on their actions going forward.

The transition of Farming Communities towards Urban Communities
In an area that experienced a transition from farming to trading and office workers, many farming habits were abandoned because people were fascinated by urban life. This also leads most of them to want to enjoy urban life that does not necessarily require their expertise.
