SUSTAINABLE FINANCE FOR NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS

REGISTER NOW

Nature-based solutions are critical to confronting the multiple crises we face today – and cultivating the resilient landscapes of the future. What to expect from new finance regulations for sustainable land use? And how is EU green taxonomy a game-changer?

In 2021, the ‘Super Year for Nature’, we saw major breakthroughs in sustainable finance and policy, with progress in the development of carbon markets, the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, and the FOLUR Impact Programme on green commodities.

The Luxembourg-GLF Finance for Nature platform seeks to scale up sustainable investments for nature-based solutions (NbS). It now aims to build on that momentum by convening a digital forum of practitioners, policy makers, and scientists, to:

  • help improve understanding of the opportunities for NbS investments emerging from recent developments in carbon finance and sustainable finance regulations;
  • build dialogue to increase the adoption of good practices, lessons learned, and of latest innovations;
  • inform policy processes in this arena

Join this free event on 30 March to learn about recent developments in carbon markets and sustainable finance regulations – and how these tools will shape the future of our planet. ADD TO CALENDAROUTLOOK CALENDAR
